Rock Stars of Cleaning Award Presentations
Colorado Rock Star of Cleaning
Custodian Benito Ruybal, with the Southern Ute Clean Team of the Southern Ute Indian Tribe, was recognized for his outstanding service at the state level, as reported by the Southern Ute Drum this week.
Jess Baidwan, presented the official award on February 12th.
Ruybal said, "It felt amazing to know that my team and the organization were voting and rooting for me to win this award."

Mr. James White was honored on February 23 as the 2023, National Rock Star Custodian.
JW, as he is known, is a custodian at Edwards Elementary in Chesterfield, SC. Caroline Miles, the principal, nominated JW earlier in the year and then promoted him to his way of winning the nationwide voting.

Florida Rock Star of Cleaning * Andrew Peters
As a result of his nomination and the many votes cast during the nationwide voting, Andrew Peters is now the 2023, Florida, Rock Star of Cleaning.
John Kelvy and Mr. Peters's family along with his colleagues and students from Liberty High School in Kissimmee, FL were there for the presentation.

The awards recognize Rock Star custodian based on the "Rock Star Custodian" program, presented by the Academy of Cleaning Excellence.

Anyone can nominate anyone who is currently employed within the nominating operation.
Your nominations are taken through October, finalists are selected, then nationwide voting goes through December.
